Manager of Real Estate - Retail / Food & Beverage

Bacio di Latte, a premier Italian gelato brand, is seeking an experienced Manager of Real Estate to join our team. This role will focus exclusively on prospecting prime retail locations to support our expansion strategy. The ideal candidate will have extensive market knowledge, a proven ability to identify high-potential sites, and experience working with companies operating 30+ locations. This is a role dedicated to securing lease agreements for new stores. This role will work out of our HQ in Marina del Rey, CA and travel around CA visiting location sites. Must currently reside in Los Angeles. Key ResponsibilitiesMarket Research & Analysis: Conduct detailed market studies to identify potential retail locations aligned with the brand's target demographics and growth strategySite Prospecting: Identify and evaluate properties for lease in high-traffic areas, shopping centers, and key commercial zonesLease Negotiation SupportCollaborate with legal and operations teams to facilitate lease terms and agreements that align with company objectivesStakeholder CollaborationWork closely with internal teams to understand business needs, foot traffic requirements, and operational considerations for each locationNetwork Building: Develop and maintain relationships with landlords, property managers, brokers, and developers to stay informed of upcoming opportunitiesCompetitor AnalysisMonitor competitor presence and identify gaps in the market to capitalize on prime locationsDocumentation & ReportingMaintain a pipeline of potential properties, including site profiles, feasibility studies, and lease updates, for regular reporting to senior managementTravel: Travel to location sites to evaluate propertiesRequirements3-5 years experience in Retail Real Estate Expansions and Leasing, preferably with brands operating 30+ locations - must have retail real estate expansion experienceStrong knowledge of retail real estate markets, property types, and leasing processesProven ability to prospect and secure prime locations for retail operationsStrong network within the commercial real estate industryExcellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skillsProficiency in real estate tools and software for analysis and reportingMust currently reside in Los Angeles.
