Our groundbreaking tools, including Michael and Lifeline, integrate technology and strategy to transform disaster preparedness and response. We are now seeking an exceptional Fundraising Executive to join our team and lead efforts to secure the resources necessary to achieve our ambitious goals. Role Overview The Fundraising Executive will spearhead our global fundraising strategy, driving sustainable growth through innovative campaigns, donor engagement, and strategic partnerships. As a key leader and member of our organization, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring WDC achieves its financial and mission-driven objectives. Key Responsibilities ? Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to meet financial goals. ? Secure funding from diverse sources, including high-net-worth individuals, grants, corporate sponsorships, and foundations. ? Build and maintain strong relationships with donors, sponsors, and other stakeholders. ? Lead and oversee fundraising campaigns, events, and initiatives that align with WDC's mission. ? Collaborate with internal teams to create compelling proposals, reports, and donor communication materials. ? Innovate new revenue streams, including digital fundraising and subscription-based donor programs.? Track and report progress to ensure transparency and accountability in all fundraising activities. Qualifications Essential ? Proven experience (5+ years) in high-level fundraising, donor relations, or similar roles. ? Demonstrated success in raising significant funds (preferably $1 million+ annually). ? Strong network within the philanthropy and fundraising sector. ? Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills. ? Strategic thinker with the ability to innovate and adapt in a fast-paced environment. ? Proficiency in creating compelling presentations, grant proposals, and reports. Preferred ? Experience in disaster management, humanitarian aid, or related fields. ? Familiarity with global fundraising practices and donor trends. ? Knowledge of tools like Salesforce, Raiser's Edge, or other donor management platforms. ?
