Our team is comprised of creative and dedicated individuals who are inspired to innovate and drive change in the alternative asset origination and capital market ecosystems.Role Description:We are looking for an ambitious technology analyst to design, develop, and ultimately lead certain Investment Operations technology capabilities. This person will have a unique and high-impact role that's integral to shaping and scaling the capabilities of the Investment Group at Saluda Grade. The role comes with high visibility, upward mobility, and exposure to all facets of asset management. The right candidate will command a role that bridges diverse responsibilities typically found across multiple departments. The right candidate will thrive on building solutions, leading a wide variety of projects, and developing personally by curating a diverse skillset. This person will work directly with the Head of Trading Technology "doing the work", and is expected to be a quick study, responsive, intrinsically motivated and have the drive to grow into an elevated role in the organization.Responsibilities:Independently gather requirements, discuss proposals, and develop/implement the solutions that improve processes and capabilitiesBecome the main contributor to the in-house investment operations technology platformImprovements to database infrastructure3rd party data & API integrationsAsset monitoring capabilitiesEnhance quality control and reportingBoost technology capabilities, providing for more efficient workflows and processesEnhanced access to asset management data and analytics for use by other areas of the firm Obtain detailed knowledge of Investment Operations to allow for an intimate understanding of the platform requirementsRun the day-to-day components of certain functions - typically ones developed by youTrade ticketing & settlementCollateral review & movementTreasury / cash managementAsset monitoring processCoordinate with Investors for any ad-hoc requestsQualifications:4+ years of experience in C#3+ years of experience in SQLInterest in or have experience in OperationsExposure to any of Finance/MBS/Real Estate/Lending/TradingStrong in ExcelExcellent analytical and critical thinking skillsKey Success Factors:Get it done mentalityOut of the box thinkerQuick studyYou are collaborative, communicative, and responsive in working with multiple teamsYou are a systems thinker.
