Bravo Property Trust - Treasury Controller (Real Estate Debt Fund), New York, NYAbout this JobOur Treasury Controller (Real Estate Debt Fund) will have a significant leadership role with respect to investor relations, account oversight, compliance and advisory services within the real estate finance and debt fund sectors. The role offers a fast-paced, high-growth setting, with a path towards future executive leadership.About Us: Bravo Property Trust is a leading private lender that has executed $1.4 billion in financings since 2021. We provide a full range of real estate debt products and services, including bridge financing, HUD financing, mezzanine financing, and preferred equity. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Tax Associate (Real Estate) to join our dynamic team.The Successful Candidate: Bravo Property Trust will hire individuals who are exceptionally strong academically, professionally, and interpersonally. At Bravo, we operate as a team and are looking for a track record of collaboration. While important, academic accolades are no substitute for effort. We will hire a Treasury Controller (Real Estate Debt Fund) who has a strong work ethic, is highly motivated, maintains the highest professional standards, and is constantly learning and improving.Responsibilities and Deli?verables:Investor relations oversight.Lead financial reporting.Collaborate with financial and tax transaction advisory teams to perform tax structuring and tax modeling for various transactions.Develop and maintain relationships with key clients and internal stakeholders.Create best practice deliverables that align with key industry verticals within our platform.Participate in developing thought leadership around market trends and value-added treasury opportunities.Basic Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field.4+ years of experience in fund treasury role.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Excellent analytical abilities with a focus on thoroughness and quality.Proficiency in MS Excel and tax compliance software.Attention to detail and ability to problem-solve.Good tax research skills.Preferred Qualifications:Advanced degree/certification such as CPA, or CFA.Experience in a Big 4 accounting firm.Exceptional work ethic with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Personable and a team player orientation.Excellent PowerPoint presentation skills for illustrative tax structuring decks.Experience with Excel modeling, including modeling of distressed company tax restructuring scenarios.Enthusiasm to build strategies, innovate, and drive tax opportunities to market.Salary: $100k-$175k base salary plus discretionary bonus.How to Apply: Candidates are invited to apply on LinkedIn and/or submit a cover letter and resume to info@.
