It designs, manufactures, distributes and retails fashion and lifestyle products including apparel, accessories, eyewear, watches, jewelry, home interiors, fragrances and cosmetics under a range of brand names: Giorgio Armani, Emporio Armani, and A|X Armani Exchange.Description of ResponsibilitiesThis position is primarily responsible for supporting the retail reporting of Giorgio Armani wholesale brands and the Emporio Armani retail stores - this will also include analyzing key performance trends, distribution, and account planning to build the platform for the company's strategic planning process.Overview of Critical DutiesSupport the development, analysis, and reporting of retail performance of GA wholesale brandsFiscal sales and sell-through reportingBy door and class selling reportsGross margin and profitability trackingBest and slowest sellers and action plansProduce ad hoc reports on an as-needed basis using both financial data and unit selling data from multiple resourcesCoordinate and pull all pricingManage budgets by account by seasonPerform statistical analysis using historical data and current trends to recommend strategies to achieve goals and objectivesAnalyze sales campaign bookings by category and customer and identify opportunities and areas for improvementPartners with account executives to maximize opportunities and manage risksDevelop and manage historical performance databaseResearch competitive comparisons and benchmarks to gain market-shareStimulates proactive and forward-thinking analysis, while coaching and developing the department team's competenciesBackground & Experience:1-2 years of prior analytical experience and retail mathExpert in MS Excel and computer proficiency (MS Word and MS PowerPoint)Results driven; strategic, conceptual and innovative thinkerExcellent organizational and multi-talking skills adhering to deadlines and ensuring accuracyStrong oral and written communication skillsCollege degree requiredThe appointed candidate will be offered an hourly rate within the range of USD $20.00- $28.00 based on experience, plus the opportunity for a bonus, a comprehensive benefits package including: medical, dental, vision, short and long-term disability, various paid time off programs, employee discount/perks and retirement plans with employer contributions. This position is based in our Giorgio Armani Corporate Office in NYC and requires in office presence.
