Pride Health is hiring an Ultrasound Tech - High-Risk Obstetrical to support our client's medical facility in Jamaica, NY. Job Title: Ultrasound Tech - High-Risk ObstetricalLocation: Jamaica, NY 11432Shift: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PMContract Length: 13 Weeks with possible ext.Overview: We are seeking a skilled and experienced High-Risk Obstetrical Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. This role requires expertise in performing ultrasound procedures for high-risk obstetrical patients. The ideal candidate will have at least one year of experience in high-risk obstetrical ultrasound, as well as the necessary certifications to perform diagnostic imaging.Key Responsibilities:Perform high-quality obstetrical ultrasound examinations for high-risk pregnancies, ensuring accurate imaging and clear documentation.Use advanced ultrasound equipment to assess fetal development, detect abnormalities, and provide critical information to the medical team.Ensure patient comfort and safety during ultrasound procedures, explaining the process and addressing any concerns.Collaborate with obstetricians, perinatologists, and other healthcare professionals to interpret ultrasound findings and contribute to the care plan.Maintain accurate records of ultrasound images and findings in accordance with hospital policies and legal requirements.Stay current with advances in ultrasound technology and best practices for high-risk obstetrics.Required Skills and Experience:At least 1 year of experience in high-risk obstetrical ultrasound.RDMS-OB certification (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in Obstetrics) through ARDMS is required.BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred.Education & Certifications:Required: Registered as a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).BLS certification preferred.Best Regards.Tabish Ahmad
