Real Estate/Transactional Paralegal - White Plains, New York LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Real Estate/Transactional Paralegal. The ideal Candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. The candidate will be responsible for review and analyzing contracts, title and survey work, including but not limited to (coordinating real estate transaction closings, including maintaining closing checklist, preparation and distribution of signature page packages, preparation and review of settlement statements, and coordination with various transaction parties as required, assist with preparation and review of real estate purchase and sale closing documents, assist with the preparation and review of loan documents, order and review title commitments and survey, prepare title, and survey objection letters and title/survey memoranda, and prepare escrow closing letters. This candidate should feel comfortable working autonomously while relaying messages between various groups and keeping all documents important to the cases they are working on organized. ResponsibilitiesAssist in drafting and reviewing real estate documents, including leases, purchase agreements, financing documents, and closing bindersCoordinate due diligence for real estate transactions, including title and survey review, zoning reports, and environmental assessmentsOrganize and maintain transaction files, both physical and electronic, ensuring all documents are complete and accurateGeneral Corporate Housekeeping, research and advise on corporate governance issuesDraft board and shareholder corporate resolutions and coordinate due diligence Facilitate the closing process by preparing closing documents, managing closing checklists, and communicating with clients, lenders, title companies, and other parties involvedConduct legal research related to real estate matters, such as property laws, land use regulations, and other relevant issuesCoordinate and manage deadlines related to multiple real estate transactions, ensuring compliance with deadlines and deliverablesDraft and revise correspondence related to commercial leases, contracts, and other real estate agreementsSupport attorneys in resolving disputes and assisting with real estate litigation as neededMaintain communication with clients and provide updates on case progressQualificationsMinimum of 5 years of real estate/transactional paralegal experience (experience with acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing transactions is preferred)Paralegal certificate from an accredited program; Bachelor's degree is a plus but not required Strong knowledge of real estate law/corporate/transactional practice experience Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and legal research tools (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis)Experience with document management systems and real estate transaction management toolsExceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, strong written and verbal communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines and the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a teamBenefitsThis posting is a representative sample of the types of roles we typically place with our clients.
