Position: Manager/Senior Manager - Pricing and Market Access ConsultingLocation: Philadelphia (Hybrid)About: Apsida is partnered with a boutique life sciences consulting firm specializing in pricing and market access strategic recommendations to pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies. Their core purpose is to assist their clients in navigating the complex and dynamic world of drug pricing and market access.Role Overview: We are actively looking for a manager/senior manager to supervise and drive pricing and market access focused project delivery. The ideal candidate will have project management experience within a life science consulting firm (specifically within pricing and market access). A good fit for this role is someone with experience managing multiple pricing and market access projects within a life science consulting firm, experience overseeing and producing high-quality strategic deliverables and has experience in client engagement and being a primary point of contact.Key Responsibilities:Project Management: Oversee multiple projects and workflow: work distribution among junior staff, active participation and decision-making within individual projects, supervision and delivery of the final product, and coordinating with client contacts to understand timelines and fulfilling any additional requests. Team Leadership and Training: Direct and supervise an expert team of analysts and consultants. Although the firm maintains an intentionally high degree of expertise among junior staff, training and mentoring is a component to this role. Coordination with Senior Leadership: Working closely with principals and partners to understand what to prioritize, occasionally support business development efforts and consistently communicate project goals and progress to clients and senior leaders. Client Engagement: The role does not require a business development background (i.e. selling projects individually, revenue targets). However, you are expected to be in a client-facing role: communicating with client contacts to provide updates on project delivery, inquiring if there are unmet needs or requirements, receiving feedback from past projects and being a strong and respectful representation of the firm in general.
