Katie Weigel with Robert Half Finance and Accounting is recruiting to fill a Financial and Business Analytics Manager role for a growing consulting firm in Reno, Nevada. Please note, this role requires 5 days per week on site in Reno, Nevada. No remote applicants.My client is seeking a candidate with proven experience managing client-facing projects, who is highly organized, and has a passion for delivering outstanding results.Candidates will have worked in an FP&A environment, where they were responsible for analyzing financial and operational data. You will have conducted a variety of financial and business analyses (you understand and can analyze financial statements and underlying transaction-level data). You will be able to translate detailed data analytics to overall business objectives. You understand how business intelligence relates to overall corporate goals and can offer solutions to a client that truly adds value to their organization.Be the main point of contact for clients during implementations, providing consistent updates, and addressing project-related inquiries.Collaborate with clients to gather and document business requirements, ensuring alignment with internal team objectives.Lead project kick-off calls, and develop detailed project plans and timelines.Set up new client projects in Basecamp, organize phases, milestones, tasks, and Kanban boards, and manage team access and permissions.Send weekly status reports summarizing progress, issues, and any changes to timelines or deliverables.Facilitate daily scrum meetings using Basecamp, capturing action items, blockers, and decisions to ensure smooth project execution.Monitor project progress closely, managing potential scope changes, and communicating adjustments to clients and stakeholders.Troubleshoot development tasks and contribute to Power BI dashboard development, as needed to help teammates, facilitate project objectives and meet timelines.Foster a collaborative and accountable team environment, tracking deliverables and supporting team members throughout the project lifecycle.Lead post-project evaluations, document lessons learned, and continuously improve project management processes.Support the sales team by contributing to project timelines, cost estimates, proposals, and ensuring smooth onboarding for new clients.Candidate requirements include:Proven experience managing multiple projects in a client-facing role.Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.Familiarity with project management software (Basecamp experience preferred).Experience in managing resources and coordinating with multiple stakeholders, including CEO's, CFO's, and board members.Excellent MS Excel skills (power-user who is an expert with using PowerPivot and PowerQuery functions)Ability to lead scrum meetings and apply agile principles.Proven problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple clients daily across diverse industries, ensuring each project meets its unique objectives and deadlines.The company offers the opportunity to do very interesting work on a high performing team.
