Senior Associate, Financial Reporting

Position SummaryDelos is looking for a Senior Associate, Financial Reporting to join our finance team. As Senior Associate, Financial Reporting for Delos you will support our team and help guide the daily financial operations and reporting needs of the business.ResponsibilitiesProvide interpretation of new GAAP rules and regulations and their potential effect on the business. Ensure clear and concise written documentation of accounting conclusions and accounting policies.Lead technical accounting research for business transactions, prepare technical accounting documentation and communicate technical accounting conclusions.Coordinate with external auditors and prepare supporting documentation for annual audits. Act as liaison between the external auditors.Identify process improvements to stream-line audit process and work with the appropriate parties to implement.Lead monthly and quarterly financial close processes focused on consolidation, including journal entries, account reconciliation, and account analysis.Prepare consolidated financial statements across multiple entities and currencies.Oversee the compilation of annual, audited financial statements.Work with cross-departmental teams to establish and maintain internal controls over financial reporting.Oversee the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly and annual reporting packages from foreign entities.Candidate Profile & PrerequisitesBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fieldCPA certification required3-5 years of experience in accounting or financial reporting, Big 4 preferredStrong and extensive knowledge of US GAAPExperience with ERP systems; NetSuite, preferredAdvanced Excel & MS Office skillsCompensationSalary for this position is competitive and commensurate with prior experience.
