Aerospace Instructor

Job Overview:We are seeking a knowledgeable and experienced Aerospace Instructor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering training and educational programs in aerospace-related topics. Duties include developing course materials, conducting practical demonstrations, and assessing student progress to ensure successful learning outcomes.While prior teaching experience is advantageous, it is not a mandatory requirement.Responsibilities:Develop and deliver comprehensive lesson plans and training materials in accordance with industry standards and educational best practicesProvide both theoretical and practical instruction, ensuring students gain hands-on experience with relevant tools and equipmentAssess student performance through assignments, exams, and practical evaluations, offering constructive feedback to facilitate improvementParticipate in curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the quality of education providedMaintain a safe and conducive learning environment, adhering to all institutional and industry safety protocolInstruct students in various aerospace subjects, including but not limited to:Electrical InstructorElectrical Aircraft installations and assemble workElectrical Functional Test troubleshootingElectrical crimpingElectrical solderingBasic mechanical skillsAerospace Mechanical Skills InstructorElectrical installations, Bonding & GroundingAircraft assembly, Heavy Structure Drilling, and/or MaintenanceBlueprints, productions standards, and/or Functional TestAircraft systems operations, familiarization, and troubleshootingAerospace Seal InstructorExperience in the application of Aircraft Sealant applicationClean and apply a sealant to aircraft componentsEnvironmental Health and Safety (EHS) InstructorExperience in Confined Space, Lock Out Tag Tryout (LOTTO), DOT, and Fall ProtectionRequired Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts in an understandable mannerCommitment to fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environmentPrior teaching or instructional experience is a plus but not requiredStrong organizational and time-management abilitiesStanding up to teach all-dayStrong technical skills backgroundVeterans are encouraged to applyFlexibility to work across shifts (1st, 2nd, or 3rd) and travel within a geographic area ranging from Everett to PuyallupMileage reimbursement is available for qualifying commutes beyond the nearest work locationPlease apply online and we will reach out to you.About Spherion Staffing and Recruiting:Spherion is a national recruiting and staffing enterprise that connects local job seekers and employers to drive careers, grow businesses, and better the communities we call home.
