A leading healthcare organization in New York City is seeking a Director of Organizational Development and Learning to drive strategic initiatives that enhance organizational effectiveness, leadership development, and employee engagement. This role is pivotal in aligning the organization's culture and workforce strategies with its mission, vision, and strategic goals.Responsibilities:The Director of Organizational Development and Learning will be responsible for:Developing and implementing organizational development strategies that align with key business objectivesLeading leadership development initiatives, including coaching, training programs, and succession planningPartnering with executives and HR to identify and address organizational needs, ensuring effective team building and conflict resolutionDesigning and managing non-clinical training programs and integrating competency models for selection, assessment, and developmentProviding change management expertise and evaluating organizational performance through diagnostic tools and metricsAdministering employee satisfaction surveys and leveraging data to drive targeted interventionsOverseeing the Learning Management System (LMS) and managing internal and external consultantsPreparing and managing departmental budgets to optimize resources effectivelyQualifications:Bachelor's degree7-10 years in leadership roles, designing and implementing organizational development programs, preferably in a mid-to-large healthcare environmentICF coaching certification and certifications in diagnostic toolsExpertise in adult learning principles and program evaluationProficiency in change management and project managementStrong analytical and strategic thinking abilitiesExceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and Learning Management SystemsDesired Skills:Master's degree in Organizational Development, Human Resources, or related fieldExperience with healthcare organizational structures and improvement cyclesFamiliarity with HR metrics, HCHAPS scores, and engagement surveysDemonstrated ability to create innovative strategies and flexible plans to meet evolving organizational needs
