Our client is seeking an experienced Project/Program Manager - Event Management to work at their company in Redmond, WA.Position Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Event Management Program and Project Manager to join our team. This role involves managing and executing large-scale events and programs, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in event management and project management.Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:E2E Event Planning and Execution:Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of large-scale events and programsDevelop detailed event project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.Stakeholder Management:Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including teams, vendors, and partners, to ensure seamless event execution.Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders, providing regular updates on project status, milestones, and any issues that arise.Project Management:Apply best practices in project management to oversee all aspects of event projects, from inception to completion.Utilize Microsoft Project or similar tools to manage project schedules, resources, and deliverables effectively.Technology Integration:Ensure the integration of technologies and platforms in event planning and execution, including Teams, Azure, Power BI, and other relevant tools.Quality Assurance:Implement rigorous quality assurance processes to ensure all events meet high standards and deliver exceptional attendee experiences.Conduct post-event evaluations to gather feedback and identify areas for improvement.Budget Management:Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring all expenses are tracked and within approved limits.Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising on the quality of events.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.Proven experience (5+ years) in event management and project management, preferably in a technology-driven environment.Strong understanding of Microsoft technologies and platforms (Teams, Azure, Power BI, etc.).Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.PMP, CAPM, or other relevant project management certifications are highly desirable.Proficiency in project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Trello, Asana, or similar.
