Our diverse school of thought separates us from friends and foes alike.We're looking for a passionate, experienced social media expert to join our team as the Social Media Manager. This role will work creatively and analytically to execute a social media strategy that informs content creation and maximizes reach and engagement, ultimately leading to a diverse, global following for the Mass Appeal brand. This position will report to the VP of Marketing.Job Responsibilities:Own overall social strategy across all existing Mass Appeal channels and new / emerging channelsCreate a content calendar for Mass Appeal platformsWork directly with the creative team to create and implement social strategies for client projects and direct the optimization of content for various platformsWork with analytics tools to monitor our progress and report back to senior leadershipWork with creative teams to develop workflows and content performance/creation feedback loops rooted in strong communication processesEstablish and maintain relationships at key social platformsStay current on the latest developments in music, current events/politics, art, etc.Expertise in the workings of Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube, Discord, Snapchat, Linkedin, etc. and managing and adapting our content and messaging to all existing and new platformsSet specific objectives and report on ROIMonitor SEO and metricsCreate actionable plans to grow the audience Ensure brand consistency in copy through tone and voiceCollaborate across departments to ensure all assets, strategies, goals, and timelines are metIdentify new social trends and emerging platforms and have the comprehension of the competitive landscape and digital best practices Manage newsletter/subscribers listProvide monthly reports on Mass Appeal accountsQualifications:To perform this job to the standards of Mass Appeal, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty successfully. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions of the job.Experience:3+ years of professional social media experienceMusic industry experience with an emphasis on digital marketingKnowledge and experience in the ever-changing social media landscapeExpert-level working knowledge of Facebook, X, Instagram, YouTube, Discord, Snapchat, etc, and the ability to seek out and adapt to the "new"Organize, prioritize, and execute a wide range of tasks with heavy workloads and tight deadlinesManagement experience with agencies or other teams/departmentsCreativity and willingness to think outside the boxStrong teamwork skills and communication abilities with the ability to write and convey marketing plans/efforts to executives and managementStrong interpersonal and teamwork skills, including adaptability, personal effectiveness, and the ability to establish quick rapportProficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, WordDegree qualified or equivalentTO APPLY:Please submit your resume to jobs@.
