Cabinetworks Group, a leading manufacturer of cabinets and kitchen/bath products, headquartered in Livonia, Michigan is seeking as Manager of Sales Effectiveness to support our strategic sales growth initiatives.In this role, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales operations professionals including sales analyst, retail category managers, S&OP demand planers, and sales operation coordinators. This team will provide robust sales and performance insights through monthly KPI reporting. This team will also engage with key projects related to process improvement and system maintenance. It is not intended to limit or in any way modify the right of any supervisor to assign, direct, and control the work of employees under their supervision.Adapt to new customer acquisitionsManage program changes with precisionCollaborate closely with finance and S&OP leadership to:Reconcile unit and financial forecastsEnsure forecast accuracyIdentify and implement continuous improvement strategies in the S&OP cyclePRINCIPAL FUNCTIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:Lead a high-performing team of Retail Category Managers and Sales Analysts responsible for:Conducting comprehensive Point of Sale (POS), inventory, and in-stock analyses for key retail customersDeveloping and delivering detailed sales performance insights, including:Customer and channel Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reportingOrder and revenue trend analysisAnnual sales target planning supportProvide strategic guidance and mentorship to category managers and sales analystsGenerate ad-hoc reports to support critical business decisionsProvide executive level insights, highlighting key observations and insightsImplement advanced analytics techniques to uncover actionable business intelligenceBuild and manage a dynamic team of S&OP Demand PlannersDeveloping comprehensive unit-level forecasts across multiple dimensions:Customer segmentsSales channelsProduct brandsGeographic regionsFacilitate cross-functional collaboration to:Integrate marketing promotions into demand planningIncorporate new product launchesBuild and manage Master Data Management processes for Sales OperationsDesign and implement robust Master Data Management processesDevelop and maintain definitive sources for account assignmentPartner with Salesforce administrators to:Maintain system roles and hierarchiesConfigure and optimize account management systemsManage and communicate sales team directories and territory assignmentsEnsure data integrity and system effectiveness across sales operationsESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS:Bachelor's degree in business, information technology, or related7-10 years of experience working in a corporate environment, specifically interacting with sales, finance, marketing, and accounting teams.Prior experience managing people with the ability to mentor and coach.Strong analytical skills with the ability to mentor team members on the most relevant and current technologiesS&OP, SIOP, and/or IBP experienceMicrosoft Office proficiency, especially in Outlook, Excel, and PowerPointExperience managing and leading process improvement projects and the ability to work more than one project simultaneouslyPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS: sales cloud experiencePowerBI experienceBuilding products, cabinetry, and/or millwork industry experiencePlease note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
