Chief Financial Officer - FQHC/Healthcare

An NYC-based Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) is seeking a visionary Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive team. This is a rare and exceptional opportunity to lead financial operations at an organization dedicated to advancing healthcare equity.Key Responsibilities:Lead strategic financial planning, budgeting, and accounting operations.Develop and enforce financial policies, standards, and procedures.Monitor and advise on financial performance, including reimbursement models and key performance indicators.Provide timely financial reports and strategic advice to the CEO and Board of Directors.Manage cash assets and recommend investment strategies.Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of finance staff.Foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout the organization.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting (CPA certification preferred).10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, ideally in complex nonprofit organizations.5+ years of supervisory experience in areas like payroll, general ledger, and grant vouchering.Experience in healthcare finance, particularly in FQHCs, is highly desirable.Advanced knowledge of financial forecasting, accounting principles, and data analysis.Strong interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills.Skills for Success:Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.Exceptional communication and collaboration skills.Expertise in MS Office, particularly Excel.Commitment to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace.
