Join us as we redefine excellence in engineering and construction management, shaping tomorrow's infrastructure landscape.Techno is seeking a detail-oriented Office Engineer with a strong focus on freshwater and reservoir infrastructure projects to join our project team in Yonkers, NY. The ideal candidate will support project management teams by coordinating documentation, reviewing project plans, and ensuring smooth execution of water infrastructure initiatives. This role is instrumental in advancing the quality and efficiency of reservoir and water supply projects in the region.Job Description:Organize kick-off and progress meetings with stakeholders, record minutes, and align efforts between architects, surveyors, construction teams, and other participants.Track contractor work progress against approved schedules, ensuring alignment with project milestones.Evaluate contractor's payment requests, prepare budgets, estimates, and scope of work, and manage related administrative documentation.Analyze specifications, drawings, and layouts to calculate total project costs, leveraging historical data for accuracy.Assist in preparing independent cost estimates (ICE) for change order proposals, ensuring compliance with standards.Oversee subcontractor agreements, billing processes, insurance requirements, and invoicing for clients and subcontractors.Requirements:Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture or a closely related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Office Engineer, with a focus on freshwater, reservoir, or water main construction projects.Familiarity with city infrastructure projects, including roadway and utility installations, and deep understanding of reservoir systems.Knowledge of NYCDEP, NYCEDC, and NYCDDC standards and procedures is a big plus.Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.Proficiency in project management software and tools, including Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint, and eBuilder.Join us as we redefine excellence in engineering and construction management, shaping tomorrow's infrastructure landscape with innovation and precision.
