We are a boutique low-volume national Plaintiff's practice focused on complex, high-value civil litigation. We are seeking dedicated and experienced Senior Litigation Paralegals to join our dynamic legal team. Successful candidates will provide invaluable support to multiple attorneys while handling the full range of paralegal duties in multiple state and federal courts. Responsibilities and qualifications include: Responsibilities· Familiarity with cutting edge cloud-based case and client management platforms, or demonstrated ability to quickly learn and adapt · Maintain and organize case files efficiently· Assist in managing cases from inception through final resolution including any necessary appeals· Capable of conducting or participating in a thorough initial investigation of possible cases· Draft initial versions of litigation documents, including discovery requests, responses, motions, and research memoranda· Proofread and edit legal documents for accuracy and compliance· Aid attorneys in preparing for court hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings· Conduct factual research to support case strategies· Serve as a liaison between the firm and clients· Oversee the discovery process, coordinating with vendors and managing documents produced or received· Utilize e-discovery platforms to search, analyze, and organize electronic documents· Utilize a "prepare as you go" methodology to constantly convert evidence into acceptable formats for use in trial· Ability to maintain both a "big picture" view of each case while remaining detail oriented enough to ensure evidence is gathered necessary to fully meet our burden of proof· Familiarity with actual trials and the amount of work that goes into the trial of a complex case · Actively manage litigation by using project management and time management skills to ensure all necessary tasks are completed within the time allowed by case management and scheduling orders · Perform other litigation-related tasks as needed· Ability to perform under pressure, work in a fast-paced environment, and bring positive energy to the team Qualifications· At least four years of experience in Plaintiff's side complex civil litigation within a law firm setting· Deep understanding of litigation rules in state and federal courts in Georgia, including local rules and filing procedures, with a willingness to learn necessary state rules and filing systems in other states where the Firm may be involved with litigation · Strong project management and time management skills· Proficiency in managing discovery in complex cases, with hands-on experience using e-discovery platforms and handling electronic documents· Strong attention to detail, including expertise in document formatting, proofreading, creating tables of content and authorities, and ensuring compliance with the Bluebook and other citation guides· Excellent communication skills for interacting professionally with attorneys, opposing counsel, and clients· Superior organizational skills with the ability to anticipate and respond to client and attorney needs· A positive and proactive attitude that brings optimism and good energy to the teamCompensation Information: · Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience along with a transparent bonus plan · Competitive benefits· We are willing to consider hybrid, flex, and remote work plans for the right candidate
