A medical services network in Queens is currently seeking a Patient Care Associate to join their Clinical Services team.Responsibilities:Review the patient's health history for completeness and record findingsDocument competently in the electronic medical record using the correct templates and formsAssist in promoting optimum center operations, excellent patient service, and compliance with both agency and funding source policies and regulationsAssess flow of patients through health center to minimize patient wait timesAssist in the orientation and training of new clinic staff, as indicated Provide health education and care related to sexual and reproductive healthcarePerform laboratory tests as ordered, complete laboratory requisitions, and package labs for transportAttend monthly didactics and incorporate information into daily care provisionPerform other duties, as neededQualifications:1+ year of experience as a Medical AssistantHigh School Diploma / GED Medical Assistant certification from an accredited school or programCertification in PhlebotomyBilingual Spanish Experience with Electronic Health RecordsSuperior customer service and teamwork skills
