Cultivating the Restaurant CultureAs General Manager, you will be the guardian of our culture"”a culture centered around hospitality.Organize team-building activities, annual celebrations, and staff appreciation eventsCommunicate regularly with your team about the restaurant's vision and valuesWhat We're Looking For:Experience & Expertise5+ years of experience in restaurant management with emphasis on operational skills, preferably in fine dining or upscale casual conceptsProven ability to grow and scale operations while managing financials and achieving revenue targetsForecasts sales and labor budget (semi-annually, period, weekly, daily).Expertise in managing labor costs, P&L, inventory, and financial reporting systems Expertise in point of sale systems, specifically Toast.Strong problem-solving skills with a solution-oriented approach to operational challengesA passion for creating memorable guest experiences and fostering a culture of hospitalityIndependent thinker who can create reports to track progress on goals. An expertise on managing the floor, including tracking turn times, pacing and staffing to optimize revenue. In depth knowledge of beverages, including beer, spirits, wine and non alcoholic drinksTechnical proficiency in Google Workspace, including documents and sheets. Skills & QualitiesA natural leader with a proven ability to inspire and motivate a diverse teamStrong communication skills, both with guests and team membersA strategic thinker who can integrate operational initiatives to drive revenue and efficiencyComfortable wearing multiple hats in a fast-paced environment with lean staffingCreative and innovative problem-solving skills, with a focus on continuous improvementPhysical Requirements:Ability to remain in a stationary position for long periods of time (6 or more hours per shift, excluding break times).Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 30 pounds (examples include beverage cambros, ice buckets, tray of food & drinks, and taking out the trash).Ability to frequently bend and reach overhead (examples include stocking to-go supplies and dusting retail shelves).Additional Requirements:College degree in business, hospitality, or related field is preferredAvailability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidaysKnowledge of local health and safety regulations and ability to ensure compliance. ServSafe certifications needed for both food safety and alcohol service within 60 days of hire. Compensation & Benefits:Base Salary: $65K - $90K Based on experienceBonus Potential: Up to 10% of Base Salary, paid quarterly.
