Branch Manager - Gemini Express TruckingLos Angeles, CAWe are a fast-growing trucking company based in Los Angeles, specializing in providing reliable, efficient, and timely transportation solutions. We are looking for an experienced and motivated Branch Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our local branch. This is an exciting opportunity for an individual with a strong background in logistics, management, and customer service to lead a dedicated team in a dynamic environment.The Branch Manager will be responsible for overseeing all operational activities at the Los Angeles branch, ensuring that the company's objectives for safety, efficiency, profitability, and customer satisfaction are met. This role requires leadership, problem-solving abilities, and a hands-on approach to managing a growing trucking operation.Key Responsibilities:• Leadership & Team Management: Lead, coach, and motivate a team of drivers, dispatchers, and administrative staff to achieve performance goals. Conduct regular performance reviews and provide ongoing training.• Operations Management: Oversee day-to-day operations of the branch, including scheduling, dispatching, route planning, and fleet management to ensure timely deliveries and operational efficiency.• Customer Service: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and vendors, ensuring excellent service and timely resolution of any issues or concerns.• Financial Oversight: Monitor branch financial performance, including budgeting, cost control, and profitability. Work with senior management to set financial targets and ensure the branch meets or exceeds them.• Safety & Compliance: Ensure all operations adhere to federal, state, and local regulations, including DOT regulations. Promote a safety-first culture and manage regular safety inspections and training.• Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting: Address and resolve operational challenges and customer complaints promptly and effectively, ensuring minimal disruption to services.• Reporting & Analysis: Regularly report to senior management on operational performance, financials, and key metrics. Analyze data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and opportunities for growth.Qualifications:• Proven experience as a Branch Manager or Operations Manager in the trucking, logistics, or transportation industry.• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and retain staff.• In-depth knowledge of trucking operations, route planning, dispatching, and fleet management.• Strong understanding of industry regulations and safety standards (DOT, FMCSA, etc.).• Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.• Solid financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, and performance metrics.• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.• High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor's degree in business, logistics, or a related field is preferred.• Valid driver's license; a CDL is a plus, but not required.Compensation:• Competitive salary based on experience• Health, dental, and vision benefits• Paid time off and holidays• Bonus potential based on branch performance
