This is a unique opportunity to build robust systems from the ground up, leveraging best-in-class processes to drive operational excellence.Key Responsibilities:Total Rewards Strategy and ExecutionBenefits Management: Oversee the selection, administration, and optimization of employee benefits programs, including healthcare, retirement, wellness initiatives, and open enrollment processes.Compensation Planning: Assist in compensation planning and year-end activities, including market analysis, benchmarking, compensation statements, merit increases, bonus payouts, budget reconciliation, compliance and reporting, and HRIS updates.Market AnalysisConduct regular benchmarking and research to maintain competitive compensation and benefits packages.Communication and Education: Develop communication strategies to educate employees and leaders about total rewards programs.Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party providers, optimizing costs and service quality.HR Operations LeadershipPayroll Administration: Oversee payroll processes, including tax management, reporting, and compliance for all entities.401(k) Administration: Manage all aspects of the 401(k) plan, including audits, compliance reporting, and quarterly meetings.Regulatory ComplianceEnsure adherence to federal, state, and local laws across compensation, benefits, and labor practices, including ACA and Department of Labor audits.Talent Budget Support: Collaborate with finance and HR leadership to support the annual HR budget process.Employee Handbook Management: Maintain and update the employee handbook to reflect current policies and legal requirements.Analytical and Operational ExcellenceData-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data analytics to evaluate and improve compensation, benefits, and operational programs.Audit Management: Oversee compliance audits for workers' compensation, benefits, and payroll, ensuring accuracy and readiness.Volunteer and Reward Programs: Administer volunteer and reward and recognition initiatives to foster employee engagement.Who we're looking for:EducationBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field. Master's degree or certifications (e.g., CCP, CEBS) preferred.Experience7+ years of progressive HR experience in compensation, benefits, payroll, and compliance.Proven success in designing and implementing total rewards strategies.Experience in private equity or investment management environments is highly desirable.SkillsExpertise in HRIS and payroll systems (e.g., ADP).Strong knowledge of compensation methodologies, market analysis, and regulatory compliance.Strong knowledge of benefits administration.Preferred knowledge of payroll administration.Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive strategic decisions.Exceptional leadership and communication skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Why join BLG:At BLG, you will play a critical role in shaping the future of HR operations and total rewards strategies.
