Job DescriptionThe Senior Project Manager for Renewable Energy reports to the President and COO of MSGI. Also, responsible for budget and organizational goals to align with our priorities and strategy.Responsibilities:Provide business development oversight for the region or business unitMonitor, track and provide fiscal oversight for the region or business unitOversee region/business unit in all aspects of job site safety and adherence to OSHA standardsProvide and manage operations for the region or business unit according to the hiring company's protocols and processesBuild effective relationships with customers, specialty contractors, suppliers, and user groups that reflect/support company vision, mission, and core values to meet/exceed customer expectationsProvide inspection and quality assurance on construction projects determining if completed work is compliant to project plans and specificationsCoordinate work with contractors and various public utilities agenciesMaintain the records and reports related to the projectCoordinate with the contractors and negotiate change ordersAssist in inspections to assure compliance with contract plans, specifications, and special provisions on all phases of constructionAssist in the preparation of contract change orders, contract estimates, progress pay estimates, and other documents or reports required for the projectCoordinate construction materials to monitor compliance with contract specificationsIdentify material concerns proactively and works with purchasing to avoid schedule disruptionsManage project workload by prioritizing work to meet deadlines and budgetary constraintsBuild, develop and grow vendor, subcontractor, and field personnel relationships to assure success of the projectCommunicate project goals and status with key project stakeholders and job site personnelMonitor, control, and report on financial performance of each project managedEstimate, negotiate and procure vendors and materials for projectProvide project administrative oversight by communicating complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or any other entity to key stakeholdersQualifications:Bachelor's Degree, and/or Associate Degree, Trade School Certification, and/or relevant field experience (Electrical, Telecommunications, or Construction)Certification as a PMP with the Project Management Institute (PMI) or CCM with the Construction Management Association of American (CMAA) is highly desirable7+ years prior construction and project management experience with a proven track record of completing projects on time and on budget; renewable energy experience is highly desirableAbility to effectively prioritize with strong time management skills in a fast-paced environmentAdvanced mathematical skills and technical abilitiesAdvanced knowledge in building and constructionAbility to read and understand blueprints both physically and digitallySuperior verbal and written communication skillsHigh level of professionalism and strong sense of urgencyIntermediate to advanced skills in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)Strong negotiation skills
