Position Summary:The Retail Sales Manager oversees all sales and new business development efforts to meet annual revenue and profit goals. This role focuses on managing a high-performing sales team while ensuring alignment with company policies and objectives.Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute annual sales strategies in collaboration with senior management to achieve financial targets.Lead, coach, and manage the sales team to foster a high-performance, ethical, and customer-focused culture.Recruit, train, and evaluate sales representatives, ensuring professional development and effective goal-setting.Monitor and analyze sales metrics, profitability, and performance, making adjustments to drive growth.Build and maintain relationships with key clients, supporting field representatives in maximizing business opportunities.Coordinate with marketing and purchasing teams to align on inventory, pricing, and promotional strategies.Manage customer retention initiatives to strengthen client relationships and enhance revenue streams.Conduct annual client business reviews and ensure accurate data usage for proactive decision-making.Qualifications:Education: Bachelor's degree required.5+ years in food, FMCG, or distribution-related sales and 3+ years in a sales supervisory role.Background in perishables or protein sales and knowledge of distribution channels (preferred).Strong leadership and supervisory abilities, with experience in training and mentoring teams.Proficient in sales forecasting, analytics, and data interpretation.Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.Bilingual (Spanish or other languages) is a plus.
