ServiceNow Analyst - ITAM

ServiceNow ITAM - Hybrid in NYCOptomi, in partnership with a leading entertainment and news provider, is seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Senior IT Asset Management (ITAM) Analyst to join their Digital Workplace Technology Engineering team. This role will be instrumental in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our IT asset inventory, optimizing asset lifecycle processes, and driving operational efficiency.The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of ITAM best practices, extensive experience with ServiceNow (including HAM Pro), and a proven ability to analyze data and identify areas for improvement.Responsibilities:Perform day-to-day ITAM tasks, including data entry, verification, and reconciliation.Ensure accurate and up-to-date asset records in the CMDB.Monitor asset health and proactively address potential issues..Contribute to the redesign of asset management workflows within our ServiceNow instance, leveraging the out-of-the-box capabilities of the HAM Pro add-on.Create and maintain custom reports and dashboards in ServiceNow to track key metrics and identify trends.Develop and implement templates for common ITAM tasks, such as asset requests and retirement procedures.Perform regular CMDB health checks and implement remediation measures.Collaborate with other teams to ensure compliance with ITAM policies and procedures.Provide training and support to end-users on ITAM processes.Qualifications:3+ years of experience in IT Asset Management with a strong understanding of industry best practices.Extensive experience with ServiceNow, including configuration, workflow management, and reporting.Experience with HAM Pro (preferred).Proven project management skills, including planning, execution, and monitoring.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision 1 and as part of a team. ITAM Champ certification or equivalent preferred ITSM certification.Experience with Visio or other diagramming tools.
