Full Time Jewelry Sales Associate

Broken English Jewelry is seeking a full-time Fine Jewelry Sales Associate to join our team at our beautiful store in Santa Monica at the Brentwood Country Mart!Our luxury jewelry boutique is one of the leading retailers of jewelry. We are looking for someone with superior customer service skills, an established client book, exceptional sales experience selling luxury products, computer skills, and most importantly a team player.Primary Accountability:This position is responsible for creating and maintaining client lists and reaching sales goals, as well as other administrative duties. This person must be energetic and enthusiastic, willing to engage customers with a sales-minded attitude, and display pride in our stores through strong work ethics, organizational skills, and cleanliness.Major Duties:Assist the efforts of all sales floor proceduresClient interfacing and salesMaintain and build upon client relationshipsMaintain solid communication and feedback relationship with store managementEnsure interior and exterior of the store is kept to company standardsMaintain team environment with colleaguesOpening and closing of the storeAssist in all store operational tasks (inventory, cash protection, and loss prevention, overhead and supply costs, and any other tasks that might be required)All other duties as assignedQualifications:High School diploma or GED equivalentFour years retail experience - LA/NYC preferredMust be over the age of 18 years of ageCommunicate effectively, both verbally and in writingBe a clear thinker, analyze and resolve problems exercising good judgmentDisplay enthusiasm towards sales and customer serviceStrong attention to detailPreferred Experience:Previous sales experience selling luxury products; client book is a plusExperience working in the jewelry industryExcellent communication skillsKnowledge and understanding of merchandise features, fitting techniques, and fashion trendsDrive to meet and exceed performance expectationsEnjoy connecting with customers, staff, and corporate personnel, demonstrating an enthusiastic and positive attitudeProviding the highest customer service standards while maintaining a professional demeanor and personal presentation at all timesPhysical Demands:Ability to sit, stand or walk for extended periods of timeAbility to lift, unpack, carry and move supplies up to 50 poundsAbility to work evenings, holidays, and weekends as requiredWork Environment:Retail store environmentConstant interaction with staff and customersAdditional Duties:Additional duties and responsibilities may be added to this job description at any time.
