Human Resources Assistant Vacancy - Staten Island - Permanent - Up to $70,000 per annum ARO Search are exclusively partnering an owner managed organization on Staten Island who are looking for a Human Resources Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis. The position will report into the Human Resources Manager who is an amazing mentor. She is looking for a Human Resources Assistant who wants to develop within the position with a clear growth path in place. The business culture is awesome with a collaborative feel which is encouraged through their open plan offices and open door, approachable leadership team. This is a site based requirement with travel to sites in Eastern New Jersey and Queens.The duties of the Human Resources Assistant include:Overseeing the onboarding process of new hires Supporting with talent acquisition from partnering with leadership to gain requirements, through to attending interviews and extending offersMeeting with employees and leadership across the organization providing rounded HR support where requiredBeing the face of HR to the organization including site visits across Staten Island, New Jersey and QueensCompleting 1-2-1 meetings and reviews with new hires throughout their first 12 monthsOrchestrating low level employee relations issues, referring more severe cases to leadership Supporting with HR administrative tasks when requiredAd hoc duties when requiredApplicant Requirements Include:2+ years experience within a Human Resources or In-House Talent Acquisition focused position Human Resources Degree with Understanding and experience of US and state specific employment lawsExperience within a blue collar (manufacturing, distribution, logistics etc) environment would be highly advantageous Strong communication skills Confidence and the ability to meet with leadership across the organizationHands on experience of talent acquisition processes and onboardingWilling to be site based on Staten Island with travel to sites in New Jersey and QueensBenefits Include:Healthcare, Dental and Vision planCompany 401K match scheme at 3%Profit sharing scheme PTO, Sick and Federal Holidays Training and Development This position has a clear growth and development path which has been created by the Human Resources Manager.
