Back End Python Engineer - VP Level

Our client, a rapidly growing fintech firm, is looking to hire a Senior level Backend Engineer focused on Blockchain tech in Python. This role is highly visible and involves working closely with other teams and industry partners. ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement a ledger using DAML/Canton and other blockchain frameworks.Build and maintain a RESTful API using Python and FastAPI.Mentor junior engineers.Participate in Peer Code Reviews.Stay current with the latest developments in blockchain technology.Qualifications5+ years software engineering experience building enterprise SaaS cloud-based solutions.2+ year technical leadership and management experience. Experience with DAML, Solidity or other blockchain programing languages.Solid experience with Python and FastAPI.Understanding of relational database concepts.Experience building APIs for large scale applications using AWS.Experience with tokenization and blockchain-based investments a huge plus.Familiarity with security and encryption techniques.Understanding of capital markets and alternative investments.
