Our client a Global Investment Manager is seeking a Senior Associate, Paralegal within Mutual Fund divisionHours: 8:30am - 5:30pm w/ flexibility for OT as requestedLocation: New York, NY Hybrid schedule, 4 days onsite, 1 day remoteThe ideal candidate will be responsible for the collection and organization of documents and information in compliance with the SEC for various funds within the firm. This candidate should feel comfortable relaying messages between various groups and keeping all documents important to the cases they are working on organized.Responsibilities:Review and draft routine legal documents and fund registration documents along with reviewing contractsReview SEC filings of funds and handle EDGAR filingsCreate and maintain case files and prepare, assemble, and distribute Board materials for regular Board meetingsFacilitate the meeting of attorney's deadlines by keeping organized schedules and providing timely reminders as well as, tracking new laws, regulations and industry developmentsConduct legal research, prepare, and file corporate governance forms in accordinance with the NYSEQualifications:2 - 4 years of Paralegal experienceExperience in a law firm, ideally with mutual fund legal or complianceBachelor's degree requiredKnowledge of Investment Company Act of 1940, Investment Advisors of 1940, and Securities Act of 1933 strong preferredStrong anaytical, project management, and leadership skills requiredExceptional organizational and written and oral communication skills requiredMS Word, Excel, PowerPoint requiredDetail oriented, highly motivated, and able to work independently as well as with a teamPay range and compensation package:$80,000- $100,000 base salary (dependent on experience) + OT (non exempt position) + discretionary bonus + strong benefits and perksPlease submit your resume in Word format for immediate considerationYou can use to collect and manage your references for free and share them with us or anyone else you choose.
