A boutique litigation firm in downtown Manhattan is seeking a Legal Secretary to join its team. The successful candidate will have experience in commercial litigation supporting multiple attorneys.Fully onsite, Monday-Friday. Flexibility for 1 day remote after probationary period. Salary Range: $85K-$100K with OT eligibilityHours: 8:30am-5pmResponsibilities:Provide high-level administrative support to multiple attorneys, including drafting, editing, formatting, and producing legal documents and correspondencePrepare and file pleadings and legal documents with state and federal courts, ensuring compliance with procedural rules and deadlinesOrganize and maintain client files, both electronically and in hard copy, ensuring they are up-to-date and accessibleCoordinate attorney calendars, scheduling meetings, court appearances, and other key appointments, and provide timely reminders of deadlinesAssist with maintaining timekeeping and billing for attorneys, including entering time, reviewing pro forma bills, and preparing final billing statementsManage the intake process for new client matters and ensure all relevant information is recorded for case managementRoute incoming calls, mail, and visitors, maintaining a professional communication channel for attorneys and clientsCoordinate travel logistics for attorneys, including booking flights, accommodations, and transportationRequirements:Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Legal Secretary, supporting multiple attorneys in commercial litigation, preferably within an AmLaw 100 firmProven proficiency in ECF filing, docketing, calendaring, and legal procedures for state and federal courtsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, deadlines, and multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentBachelor's degree or equivalent work experience requiredProficiency in Microsoft 365 and legal document management systemsWillingness to work overtime and travel for trials, hearings, and other case-related events as necessary
