Havas Media is looking for a VP of Social to join a large pharma client for a NYC based role.As the VP of Paid Social, you will be a visionary leader with a deep passion for the industry and a strong expertise in paid social media planning and buying. Your role will be pivotal in supporting the Havas Media leadership teams, providing exceptional guidance and support to account teams and clients across all paid social activities. You will play a crucial part in driving the growth of our Performance Investment team. Reporting directly to the SVP Integrated Investment, you will be instrumental in shaping and executing our paid social strategies.Responsibilities:Lead and oversee all paid social planning & buying activities within the team.Collaborate effectively with internal cross-disciplinary teams to provide accurate and relevant planning recommendations, influencing decisions on channel mix and budget allocation.Foster collaborations with partners to identify and deliver new, cutting-edge opportunities that align with both agency and client business objectives. Continuously evaluate emerging tools and enhancements to optimize our marketing toolkit, including social platforms, DMPs, other media technology buying platforms and analytics tools.Act as a key point of contact for clients, understanding their goals, needs, and challenges. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing strategic guidance and ensuring their satisfaction with Havas Social. Proactively identify opportunities to expand and enhance client relationships.Provide strategic planning and consultancy to client teams, supporting partnership spending goals while ensuring profitability and efficiency.Conduct regular performance analysis and reporting to measure the effectiveness and impact of paid social media efforts. Present findings and recommendations to executive stakeholders and clients, providing actionable insights to drive future strategies.Foster a collaborative and high-performing environment that encourages innovation, growth, and professional development throughout the team.Work closely with social directors and client teams to develop staffing plans that cater to client needs and enable growth of the team while maintaining profitability for the organization.Lead and mentor the social team, setting expectations of competency and account servicing excellence.Define the strategic vision for new business efforts and align the team's offerings with the overall Havas Leadership and partners' goals.Contribute to the agency's thought leadership efforts by sharing insights, industry trends, and updates, crafting POVs that showcase our expertise and knowledge in social media.Support the Head of Social in distributing updates and best practices among the team, ensuring comprehension and seamless adoption of proceduresSkills andQualificationsA minimum of 10 years of experience in paid social media planning and buyingDeep experience in managing social campaigns for pharma clientsDemonstrated in-depth knowledge and expertise across all major social media platforms.Proven experience in managing and coaching teams to drive individual and collective performance.Excellent client management and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and tasks efficiently.Comprehensive understanding of various media channels, including video, search and programmatic, allowing you to speak to media in a broader sense.Exceptional leadership skills to effectively represent and champion the social team within the organization.Strong analytical and strategic thinking capabilities to drive innovative solutions for clients' challenges.Strong time management abilities to load-balance priorities effectively.ABOUT HAVAS MEDIA NETWORK NORTH AMERICA:Havas Media Network North America is the Media Experience agency, delivering our brand promise through our proprietary Mx System, where meaningful media helps build more meaningful brands.
