About the Company Piaggio Group Americas, Inc. is seeking an HR and General Affairs Manager to oversee Human Resources and Legal activities.About the Role The HR and General Affairs Manager will be responsible for managing HR activities for US employees, directing payroll and benefits, aligning HR strategy with business goals, and overseeing legal activities including licensing and risk mitigation.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for all HR activities for US based employeesManage and direct payroll, benefits, employee relationsEnsure payroll compliance with laws, policies, and best practices, including audits and exception processingCoordinate with external payroll provider and 401k administratorCreate and align the HR strategy with the company's business goalsProvide monthly reporting to the global HR TeamLead in organizational planningCoordinate the performance management processResponsible for creating the travel and labor cost budgetsAudit and approve company expenses and travelManage the immigration processes for international employeesResponsible for all legal activities of the company including licensing and risk mitigationManage the licensing of the business across all states in the US and Canadian provincesCoordinate operations with government agencies (NHTSA, DOT, State Business Licensing)Coordinate activities with external counsel on all matters (company contracts, lawsuits, employment law, intellectual property issues and disputes with the dealership network)QualificationsBachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience acceptableProficient knowledge of the US Labor and Employment lawsAbility to communicate effectively in a courteous and professional manner, both verbal and writtenSelf-motivated with excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task and work within a teamProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Excel experience is mandatory, SAP experience preferredTime management skills. Exceptional attention to detailCross-group collaboration, negotiationAble to deal with ambiguity, achieve results in a fast-paced, distributed team environment and adapt to changing business needsUS work authorization requiredExperience in a multinational work environment preferredItalian language proficiency is preferred, but not requiredPay range and compensation package From $90,000 to 120,000 based on experience, 401k, Medical Benefits
