Loan Servicing Specialist

Our client, a leader in the financial services industry, is looking to hire a Loan Servicing Specialist. This is a hybrid role that will be onsite 2-3x per week in Downers Grove, IL.This job is a 6-month W2 contract role with benefits!As a Loan Servicing Specialist, you will be responsible for daily cash and position reconciliation, investigating discrepancies, and ensuring the accuracy of loan portfolio records. You will collaborate with trustees, agent banks, and internal teams to maintain seamless operations and resolve complex issues within tight deadlines.ResponsibilitiesPerform daily reconciliation of cash and positions by established deadlines.Research issues using Wall Street Office and similar platforms, agent notifications, public records, and trustee reports.Liaise with trustees, custodians, and agent banks to resolve cash discrepancies and ensure accurate records.Track and document issue resolution, conduct root cause analysis, and identify control gaps.Desired Skills & ExperienceBachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.2+ years of post-graduation experience, preferably in financial services or related fields.Solid understanding of the broadly syndicated loan marketProficiency in Wall Street Office (WSO) softwareStrong skills in Microsoft ExcelMotion Recruitment Partners is an Equal Opportunity Employer, including disability/vets.
