Frore Systems is looking for a Systems QA Engineer (the exact level such Senior, Staff, etc., will be determined based on candidate's knowledge and experience). The successful candidate will: System QA Test Development and Automation: Establish test topologies and test frameworks to test and validate product requirements.Implement and maintain multiple test infrastructure. Track and ensure high usability.Work on development of sub-system and system-level test-plans and test-scripts. Ensure test documentation is up to date, complete and accurate.Plan, conduct, train, unblock and manage test execution. Identify issues proactively and debug them.Contribute towards the Acceptance tests for sanitizing hardware and firmware releases.Compile and present test results, reports on the status of System Qualification and the test coverage achieved.Provide feedback and suggestions to developers to help improve the product.Kickstart new projects defining the scope of testing and timelines for completion.Collaborate with other stakeholders in hardware, firmware, algorithms, mechanical design and system design.Debugging & Troubleshooting:Identify, analyze, and resolve complex system-level issues, including hardware/firmware interactions, communication protocols, and performance bottlenecks.Use a variety of debugging tools (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, JTAG, etc.) to diagnose problems and implement effective solutions.Conduct root cause analysis of system failures.System Optimization:Analyze and optimize system performance, including power consumption, processing speed, and memory usage.Implement system-level optimizations to improve reliability, efficiency, and overall product performance.Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to incorporate best practices into system design.Documentation & Communication:Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including system specifications, design documents, and debugging procedures.Communicate technical details and findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Provide mentorship and guidance to junior engineers in the team.The successful candidate will have the following qualifications BS/MS/PhD in Engineering with 5+ years of relevant industry experience.In-depth knowledge and experience in SQA, Validation.Demonstrated expertise in python as applicable to automated SQA testing. Demonstrate expertise in CI/CD pipelines, Regression testing. Industry experience in validating package to production quality.Good knowledge of standard embedded interfaces such as I2C, SPI, USB, Ethernet, etc.Good knowledge of software engineering practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations.Experienced in system bring-up, FW debug tools and Electrical debug tools such as scopes. Experience with testing or designing thermal/ mechanical systems is a plus.Experience with QA / web development / data management frameworks is a plus.Ability and desire to mentor and share experiences with other engineers.Self-starter, able to ramp-up on codebase with minimal support. Good communication and interpersonal skills.120K-200K: includes base salary, stock options and potential annual bonus.
