POSITION SUMMARY:The Partner Account Manager (PAM) is responsible for achieving sales, profitability and retention objectives as part of the Spectrum Custom Packaging partner program. As a quota-carrying role, you will be responsible for lead generation, partner management, and driving revenue growth. Reporting to the CEO, the PAM will collaborate with partners, sales and leadership to develop and execute strategic initiatives that expand market presence, enhance partner capabilities, and meet or exceed revenue targets. With a strong commitment to excellence and a passion for delivering exceptional products/services, we are poised for rapid growth and looking for talented team members.PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES:Channel Strategy and Revenue Growth:Develop and execute region-specific channel strategies to recruit new partners, increase activity with existing partners and drive overall revenue growth.Implement our partner program, including onboarding, training, marketing, and initiatives, to optimize partner engagement and results.Partner Recruitment and Relationship Management:Identify, recruit, and onboard new partners while building and maintaining strong, collaborative relationships.Serve as the primary liaison for channel partners, fostering mutual business success and long-term collaboration.Manage partner pipeline to ensure proper forecasting and deal progression.Report partner performance and recommend optimization strategies.Sales and Business Development:Lead sales efforts, including prospecting, opportunity reviews, deal negotiation, and closing to achieve revenue and growth targets.Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities within existing accounts while driving new account acquisition.Prepare and deliver sales proposals, pricing estimates, and project outlines for partner delivery.Performance Monitoring and Optimization:Monitor and analyze partner performance using key metrics, such as sales and revenue, to identify areas for improvement.Provide actionable insights and resolve conflicts or challenges to enhance partner success.Market Intelligence and Industry Engagement:Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to inform strategic decisions.Represent the company at industry events and conferences to build relationships and promote Spectrum Custom Packaging's brand and offerings.Support and Guidance:Provide partners with guidance on product and solution offerings, ensuring they are equipped for success.Collaborate with sales teams to align channel and direct sales efforts effectively.Work with Spectrum leadership to ensure alignment with organizational KPIs.KEY COMPETENCIES:Deep understanding of the manufacturing and packaging industry, including products, services, processes, trends, and emerging opportunities.Proficiency in customer relationship management software, particularly Zoho, general to track, analyze, and optimize partner performance.Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with proven experience with sales presentations and proposals.Knowledge of sales techniques and strategies.Ability to build and maintain relationships with partners.Strong problem solving and negotiation skills.Time management and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Flexibility and adaptability to change.EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or related field preferred.Minimum of 3+ years managing channel partners, including recruitment, relationship management, and revenue optimization.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Ability to travel to client sites, trade shows, and other events as required (up to 50% of the time).Extended periods of sitting, working at a computer, and making phone calls.Occasional lifting and carrying of product samples or marketing materials (up to 25 lbs).Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the role.BENEFITS:Competitive salary and attractive compensation packages.Career development opportunities: access to world class training programs, workshops, and mentorship initiatives that foster professional growth.Positive Work Environment: A supportive company culture that values teamwork, open communication, and employee well-being.Innovation and Technology: Opportunities to work with advanced packaging technologies and innovative processes that enhance job satisfaction and efficiency.Recognition and Rewards: Programs that acknowledge and reward exceptional performance, contributing to a motivated workforce.Strong Leadership Support: Access to experienced management that provides guidance and support, fostering confidence and growth.Networking Opportunities: Participation in industry events, and conferences.COMMITMENT TO DIVERSITYAs an equal opportunity employer committed to meeting the needs of a multigenerational and multicultural workforce Spectrum Custom Packaging recognizes that a diverse staff, reflective of our community, is an integral and welcome part of a successful and ethical business.
