The Role. As a Vice President, you will be reporting to the Partner/Executive Vice President (EVP), and will be responsible for supporting the EVP and Senior Staff in all aspects of our client service work, including communications, campaign management, research, and analysis.In particular, you will be responsible for work related to communications, partnerships, policy, and business development includingSpearheading and/or supporting the creation and execution of communications and/or political campaign plans on behalf of clientsManaging the day to day needs of a client project, including acting as a client liaison on project details and communicating project needs to junior employees and senior employees Spearheading and/or supporting the creation and execution of communications and/or political campaign plans on behalf of clientsConducting campaign research and gathering information relevant to client campaignIdentifying key campaign stakeholders and supporting the creation of strategies to reach them.Engaging in relevant day to day interaction with clients Collaborating with all team members, including senior management, on execution of campaigns, which may include communications, external relations, digital campaigns, and lobbyingLeveraging unique skills and experience for diverse client pool and campaigns, including project management Contribute to client pitches, in-person, on Zoom, and via written proposals Traveling as needed to address client's campaign logistics and attend client meetings Prioritizing recordkeeping, including but not limited to lobbying tracking Participating in Learning and Development trainings and meetings Coordinating and executing a range of activities, including conferences and campaign events, for the client under the guidance of the EVP and Senior StaffAssisting with overflow as needed and/or special projects as assigned by the EVP and/or Senior StaffWhat we look for from you.At least 4 years of experience at a public affairs agency, in-house, in government, and/or on political or issue advocacy campaigns. Also open to candidates with experience in public relationsExcellent writing skillsExcellent public speaking and presentation skillsAbility to work on multiple projects at once and under tight deadlinesGreat interpersonal skills and all around interesting, dynamic person who loves a challengeFamiliarity with political and new media landscapeStrong research skills, with a focus on regulatory and legislative mattersWhat you'll get from us.Tusk leadership believes that treating employees well helps the whole company prosper.
