The Global Markets Post-Trade IT team is dedicated to providing comprehensive support for Fixed Income, Equity/Securities Lending, and Credit Trading applications. Our focus encompasses both operational (functional and technical support) and change (project management) aspects within this domain. The team is actively engaged in all phases of application development, including user needs collection, analysis, design, implementation, delivery, support, and maintenance, all within an agile framework.We are seeking a VP-level IT Business Analyst for the Equities Booking and Post-Trade domain. This role will cover Equity/Securities Lending, Operations, Risk, Compliance, and Accounting. The ideal candidate will support end users and manage projects of varying scales, ranging from business and regulatory evolutions to operational enhancements and strategic initiatives, including the modernization of legacy Back-Office applications. A strong understanding of the Equities and Options trade lifecycle"”from Booking to Clearing and Settlement"”is essential, as well as familiarity with US broker-dealer and transactional regulatory reporting, along with solid experience in Back Office applications.He/she/they will be responsible for gathering requirements from stakeholders, writing business requirements and functional specifications, liaising with IT developers, defining and executing test scripts, and coordinating with end users for User Acceptance Testing (UAT). Additionally, the candidate will assist with project planning and status reporting.This position requires collaboration with Global Markets Pre-Trade IT Teams and Head Office IT teams.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:For all matters related to the Equity and Securities Lending business:Business Analysis / Project Management:Collaborate closely with user representatives (traders, operations, etc.) to determine and document business requirements.Perform and document impact and gap analysis.Evaluate IT solutions from third-party vendors versus in-house applications to meet the specific needs of the business.Write detailed functional specifications for IT development teams.Define and execute test scripts.Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT).Scope and plan projects, report progress, identify and manage issues/risks, and facilitate communication.Functional Support / Maintenance:Provide day-to-day support for issues related to Booking and Back Office applications (booking, straight-through processing, settlement, clearing, reporting, accounting, etc.).Qualifications:Bachelor's degree.Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT business analysis functions within the finance industry.In-depth knowledge and experience with Back Office systems (in-house or vendor applications), including clearing and settlement workflows for Equities and Options.Experience with trading systems such as Smart Loan, Loanet, Sophis, and Broker Dealer systems (e.g., Phase 3/Shadow Suite).Excellent knowledge of Equity/Securities Lending activities and products.Experience with legacy systems modernization or new system implementation.Proficient in SQL.Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and the ability to provide solutions to complex problems.Ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment across multiple applications.Well-versed in Agile practices and methodologies.If you are passionate about leveraging technology to drive business solutions in the financial sector and possess the required skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.Natixis is an equal opportunity employer, committed to a workplace free of discrimination. Natixis is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Actual base salary will vary and will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, skills set, applicable licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Base salary is only one component of our total rewards package. Natixis also offers a generous benefits package, and you may be eligible for a discretionary incentive award depending on company and individual performance.
