OverviewWe are seeking an Administrative Intern with previous office experience and ideally experience in the health care industry. We are seeking a professional, organized and compassionate individual who is looking for a long-term position with a great company.Position: Part-Time UNPAID Internship, Course Credit AvailablePosition available: ImmediatelyValid Driver License RequiredAdministrative Assistant Responsibilities:Great customer service skills (Compassionate Attitude)Ability to multi-taskExperience converting phone leads valuedIndependent problem solving and initiative· Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner· Answer and direct phone calls, take messages, and provide information to callers (Experience with multi-line phone system preferred)· Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages· Maintain office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary· Provide administrative and calendaring support to staff members as neededProficient Knowledge:· Excellent phone etiquette and strong written and verbal communication skillsExperience with Electronic Health Records preferredMicrosoft Office programs (Word and Excel a must)Adobe AcrobatGeneral office equipment and computer proficiencySelf-Management Skills:Strong computer literacy with the ability to learn new software quicklyExceptional organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to maintain positive and compassionate attitude and handle difficult conversations with clients & guestsAbility to communicate clearly & efficiently with diverse clientsCooperative attitude that is compatible with othersPleasant telephone voiceThis is a part-time internship with 20 hours a week regular office hours.
