About the CompanyThe Energy and Security Group (ESG) is looking to hire a Trainer / Facilitator to provide training services in private sector engagement (PSE), localization, and communications for the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) both in Washington, D.C. and field offices overseas. Work under this contract will be performed primarily in Washington, D.C., with travel to various field offices overseas. ESG's headquarters is in Reston, VA. This position is contingent on contract award.About the RoleThe Trainer / Facilitator shall:Deliver a structured training program focused on USAID's private sector engagement, communications, and localization policies, strategies, and best practices.Provide training to Washington and mission staff through an assortment of facilitated formal and informal venues or seminar/workshop type sessions, webinars, and e-learning courses.Maintain awareness of current USAID policies regarding PSE and localization.Maintain and update training materials and resources to accommodate regular policy changes and industry trends.Support the development of new or advanced training, to include case studies, white papers, and other learning materials.Support studies and analysis for USAID PSE activities.Develop and cultivate partnerships to advance organizational priorities and mission.ResponsibilitiesRequired QualificationsMaster's Degree in Social Sciences or related discipline.5 years of experience as a trainer / facilitator with an understanding of USAID PSE, communications, and localization strategies.Proven ability to develop and maintain training materials.Proficient in providing training across an assortment of formal and informal venues both in person and online, including seminars, workshops, webinars, and e-learning.Knowledge of USAID organization and structure.Experience supporting studies and analysis for USAID and/or other U.S. Government (USG) Agencies.Preferred SkillsDesired Qualifications10+ years of experience as a trainer / facilitator supporting USAID or other USG agencies.Direct experience supporting USAID PSE training or strategy development.4+ years of experience developing training materials for USAID or other USG agencies.Pay range and compensation packagePay range or salary or compensationEqual Opportunity StatementESG is an Equal Opportunity Employer and celebrates diversity in our work force.
