Job Description: Evaluate, develop, customize, install, and implement functionally appropriate, technically sound, and well-integrated systems in accordance with Customer requirements, and organizational methodologies and standards.Work in partnership with vendors to respond to production problems and implement immediate resolution efforts across technology areas.Work closely with our delivery consultants to perform feasibility studies and design automation solutions to address customers infrastructure and system issues and/or problems within the Digital Employee Experience (DEX) environment - NexthinkResponsibilitiesAnalyze and evaluate requirements by understanding all parameters interacting with and affecting the system using DEX tools.Design, develop, and test scripts/automation modules for production systems using PowerShell and bash.Create and maintain script documentation.Integrate PowerShell and bash with multiple systems using APIs.Maintain, improve, and add new features to legacy codeOversee vendor management, partner governance, and oversight to deploy systems that are complete, designed and managed over life cyclesResearch problems, plan solutions, recommend software and systems, and coordinate developments in an orderly manner to meet business requirementsMonitor and test performance and capacity for potential bottlenecks, identify possible solutions, and work with partners to implement fixesProvide and ensure the highest levels of systems and infrastructure availability and resolve escalations of moderate to medium to high complexityImplement and update the platform strategy and road mapMaintain awareness of technology trends in area of responsibility and make appropriate recommendationsMaintain and administer computer and data networks and related computing environments including computer hardware, systems software, applications software, and all configurationsMeet commitments and deliverables as related to participating/leading projectsGather data pertaining to customer needs, and use the information to identify, predict, interpret, and evaluate system and network requirementsCreates and executes integrated testing strategies using test driven development principles to ensure solution integrity and qualityMay perform other job duties as directed by Employee's LeadersKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Ability to analyze and resolve problems of moderate to high complexityStrong GPO ExperienceStrong SCCM ExperienceMinimum of 4 years of experience in developingStrong scripting knowledge in PowerShell supporting large Windows infrastructure environments requiredStrong in Bash Scripting in MacOS environmentsWorking with API and webhooks is a plusAbility to interface with other applications like Service Now and other IT applicationsGood knowledge and understanding of infrastructure, networking, and securityStrong attention to detail with excellent time management and organization skillsExcellent problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a high-paced environmentAbility to quickly learn new technologies in an unsupervised environmentExperience with Nexthink, 1E or similar DEX Technologies requiredStrong knowledge of hardware components, systems, software, and networking technologiesAbility to perform troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, solution development, and implementation within specific technology areasSkilled in strong partnering, negotiation, and communication in working with Business Customers and Technology supportStrong knowledge of systems development methodologies, practices, concepts, and technologiesAbility to develop, present, and effectively communicate ideas and strategies in both technical and user-friendly language to a medium-large audiencesAbility to design, configure, and test computer hardware, networking software and operating system softwareSkilled in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware, software, or other network and system problems, and replacing defective components when necessarySkilled in strong project management and analytical/creative problem-solvingSkilled in strong written, oral and interpersonal communicationsPay Range: $60-80/ HR W2The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
