We are currently engaged on a search for a Director of Asset Management for a multifamily real estate investor located in Boca Raton. Our client is well established with strong history of success. They pride themselves on taking care of their employees both culturally and financially.Director of Asset Management: The Director of Asset Management will oversee and optimize the financial and operational performance of a diverse real estate portfolio, requiring regular travel (~2 days per week) to assess properties, engage with partners, and ensure the execution of business plans.Key Responsibilities:Portfolio Oversight:Monitor and report on financial and operational performance relative to business plans and underwriting.Track critical property deliverables such as tax management, audits, debt maturities, leasing targets, and construction milestones.Adjust property strategies in real time to maximize revenue and minimize expenses.Stakeholder Engagement:Manage relationships with operating partners, property managers, and third parties to foster growth and represent the organization in the market.Actively participate in property branding, programming, lease-up strategies, and marketing efforts with JV partners.Project Management:Supervise development and renovation projects in collaboration with the construction management team.Coordinate internal processes across legal, accounting, and capital markets to execute business plans effectively.Strategic Contributions:Collaborate with acquisition teams to evaluate investment opportunities.Leverage industry relationships to solve challenges and identify creative strategies.Track industry trends and adjust property business plans as needed.Additional Involvement:Participate actively in industry organizations and events.Project asset performance through refinancing, renovations, and redevelopments.Requirements:Minimum of 7 years of real estate asset management experience, including 5+ years in Multifamily asset management.Strong operational skills with hands-on experience in property and partner management.Strategic mindset with a proven track record in developing and executing investment strategies.Advanced financial, analytical, and technical skills, including Excel proficiency (experience with asset management software is a plus).Excellent judgment, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently while collaborating within a team.Genuine passion for achieving exceptional results and contributing to team success."We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability status, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law".
