Summary: alexanderwang is searching for a highly collaborative, adaptive, and detail-oriented individual to support the Chief Marketing Officer on management of all social channels, including primary platforms such as: Instagram, TikTok, WeChat, Redbook, Douyin and Weibo. The Associate, Social Media will collaborate on strategy and implementation of plans to engage and grow our community across owned social platforms. You will assist in ideating and implementing social strategy based on audience needs and social-first content creation, while working with various stakeholders to deploy multiple campaigns.Through the brand's social media channels, the successful candidate will post content and engage with the brand's audiences per channel and market. The ideal candidate will be quick on their feet, willing to accept a challenge, understand creative nuances per platform, and have a passion for executing best practice on social media.Job Responsibilities include but are not limited to:Maintain social media presence across multiple platforms - such as (Instagram, TikTok, Red, WeChat, etc.)Organize social calendars week to week and administer posting-Primary Platforms: Instagram + Instagram Stories and TikTok-Secondary Platforms: Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Pinterest.-Primary APAC Social: Weibo, WeChat, Redbook and Douyin.-Social Management / Scheduling Tool: Sprout SocialConduct social Reporting on a Weekly RotationConduct regular social media analytics and reporting to measure performance and inform future content and engagement strategies-Reporting: Excel and PowerPoint-Analytics tools: Sprout Social and LeftyKnowledge of Primary social platforms (both APAC and ROW) and best practices of the dayCommunity Management. Engage with content approved by CMO in a timely and professional manner.Manage alexanderwang Broadcast Channel.Execute and build on plans devised by CMO by sharing learnings, weekly performance results and ideas/opportunities to optimize implementation strategy (where possible).Weekly touch point with CMO to share calendar, reports, relevant market "˜news' (by industry) and additional ideasWork cross-functionally with Retail/DTC Team, Wholesale Team, Buying & Planning Team, PR team, Design team, E-commerce team to satisfy departmental goals and KPIsHelp source creatives (artists, photographers, videographers, etc.) for original content, and source found imagery from external parties (Getty, earn social etc) Ensure brand consistency and compliance with social media policies and guidelinesKeep on the pulse of social media to feed trends by platform, and timely content ideas for the marketing team to live-capture trends & momentum.Continuously grow and adapt to our evolving social media/ marketing needsPractice continuous improvement of our social media presence and knowledge on trending social media platformsPosition Skills2 years' experience in social media "” fashion preferredBachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent relevant fashion/social media experience Proficient in Instagram and TikTok Posting tools, Editing and Low-Level content CaptureProficient in Tik Tok, Instagram, Facebook, twitter, YouTube, PinterestWorking knowledge in Weibo, WeChat, Redbook and douyinProficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc)Social-First Editing SkillsKnowledge of analytics tools such as Sprout Social and LeftyKnowledge in Adobe SuiteStrong knowledge of changing landscape of organic social channelsFamiliarity with paid social media campaignsAbility to recognize and join relevant conversations surrounding pop culture and social media trendsA strong editorial voice with a sense of humor, sarcasm, and witKnowledge of the alexander wang brand lifestyle and historyWe are an Equal Opportunity Employer M/D/F/VIn compliance with the New York City salary transparency requirements, the potential salary for this position is from $65,000 to $70,000, which represents a range commensurate with experience, knowledge, and skills required
