About the RoleRole: Private Equity Analyst (Real Assets)Firm: Ospraie Management, a New York based, basic industries and commodity asset manager founded in 2004Location: New York City / Rye, NY; in office 3 - 4 days per weekQualifications: 1+ years of finance and modeling experience requiredBachelors degree requiredAccounting experience is a plusReal Asset experience is a plusTechnical, engineering, business, finance, and other similar degrees and experience are attractiveInterested in candidates coming from industryCandidate must be highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPointStrong communications skillsHumble and hard workingResponsibilities:This role is a great opportunity to work directly with Ospraie's senior investment team and portfolio companiesWork closely with the investment team to manage and support existing portfolio companiesPerform detailed financial modeling, create investment memos, conduct in depth industry analysis, and lead various project-based assignmentsSupport new deals and transaction workWork closely with Ospraie's Director of Finance and portfolio companies for timely and streamlined investor reportingCompensation:Total annual salary is expected to be $90,000 - $110,000, and you will also be eligible for an annual bonusBenefits: health insurance, 401k, etc.Reporting Structure:Ospraie is a flat organizationWill work closely with and be mentored by Ospraie's Senior AssociatesWill also work directly with Ospraie's senior investment team
