Hybrid role in Jersey City NJ or Merrimack NH. Our industry-leading financial services client is seeking a Golang Developer.We can facilitate w2 and corp-to-corp consultants. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.Rate: $75 - $85 / hr. w2Responsibilities:Writing source code, adapting existing components, and testing developed components.Ensuring designs meet performance, security, usability, and reliability and scalability requirements.Experience Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field10+ years professional experience in distributed systems development using programming languages like Golang, Rust or JavaExperience architecting and implementing customer-facing user interfaces, REST services, third-party integrations, tools, in previous full-stack development roles.Design, develop and maintain unit tests and regression test cases for your applicationAdvanced skills in scripting languages for automationExperience building and deploying applications using continuous integration pipelines and automated deployment tools such as Jenkins CorePrior experience in C++ or kdb+/q would be a plusAbility to investigate, isolate, and solve technical issues across the full technology stack by using automated & manual testing methodologiesWork well in agile teams and independentlyExcellent communication and collaboration skills to work with multiple teams across the organization.Your ability to work in a fast paced, highly matrix environment to achieve group goalsYour desire and aptitude for learning innovative technologiesGreat understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, and algorithms to ensure alignment to software engineering methodologiesExcellent understanding of Test Driven Development in support of highly resilient and stable application with a high degree of code coveragePrevious experience using business requirements to craft, develop and maintain test plans, test cases.The ability to communicate problems and recommend solutions to project leadersSkills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
