The New York City Office of a medium sized law firm is looking for a Real Estate Legal Assistant to support their team whose practice focuses mainly on Residential Real Estate. This is a great opportunity to be an integral part of a group looking to grow. Collegial, smaller office that fosters a no task is too small culture. Must have at least 5 years of experience as a Real Estate Legal Assistant at a law firm.Job Duties/Responsibilities:Drafting, revising, formatting and managing mainly residential real estate relatedAssisting with duties related to closings and post-closingAssisting team with tasks related to the purchase, sale, financing and leasing of mainly residential and some commercial propertiesEnsuring any and all deadlines are metCalendaring, correspondence, matter intake, document management, conflict checks, time entry, billing and ad hoc projectsRequirenents/Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree At least 5 years of experience as a Residential Real Estate Legal Assistant; some commerical is a plus Experience with responsibilities for closings required Landlord-tenant experience highly preferredAbility to discern when to work with the team and independentlyMust be willing to work in office 4 days a week as well as overtime when neededAbility to manage competing deadlines If you are qualified, interested and looking to learn more, please send an MS Word OR PDF version of your resume to Jess Levinson at jlevinson@.
