Job Title: Contract SpecialistLocation: White Plains, NY (Candidates are REQUIRED to be local to Tri-State area)Duration: 12 months (Contract)Responsibilities:Perform QA/QC on memorandums and proposals.Support RFPs, including coordinating meetings, commenting on Scopes of Work (SOWs), and checking RFP packages.Create and verify purchase requisitions in SAP.Communicate effectively with stakeholders across Operations, Procurement, and Legal departments.Review, interpret, and research contract terms and conditions.Monitor contract expirations and ensure timely renewals or adjustments.Learn and implement new software to improve contract processes and management.Develop contracting mechanisms and strategies to enhance operational efficiency.Design and streamline processes and procedures to reduce cycle time.Qualifications:Technical Skills:Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams).Ability to quickly learn and utilize MS 365 tools (e.g., SharePoint Lists, Power Automate).Knowledge of or ability to quickly learn SAP ERP.Soft Skills:Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to navigate complex policies and create efficient processes and procedures.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Education and Experience:Bachelor's Degree (preferably in Engineering) required.5-10 years of experience in procurement, contract management, and/or project management.Experience in standardizing processes and procedures is preferred.PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is a plus.
