Location: Redmond/Bellevue area, WAPosition Type: Onsite (No Remote Work)About the Position:We are on the hunt for a seasoned AR/VR Quality Assurance Test Analyst to become a vital member of our team in the Redmond/Bellevue area of WA. This role is exclusively onsite and will immerse you in the forefront of AR/VR technology, including rigorous testing of innovative hardware and software. The position demands hands-on engagement with products, prominently featuring the necessity to wear AR/VR headgear during testing phases. Candidates should have a genuine comfort and enthusiasm for wearing headgear devices as an integral part of their daily responsibilities.Hours of Operation: 9 am till 5 pm PST (Mon-Fri)Key Responsibilities:Lead thorough testing analysis, maintain and grow test suites, and undertake ad-hoc testing on new, undocumented areas to elevate the QA organization's quality and accuracy.Directly work with engineering teams, partake in planning meetings, and identify testability risks for features, particularly when testing Horizon.Produce deliverables for both standard and advanced testing needs, ensuring exceptional test planning and execution.Develop new test cases as features evolve and requirements change, maintaining up-to-date tracking of new functionalities and release levels.Mitigate engineering team disruptions by managing duplicate bug reports, clarifying ambiguous bug reports, and ensuring compliance with bug reporting protocols.Discover test and process deficiencies using best practices and communicate these findings to management throughout the project lifecycle.Utilize popular bug-tracking software (e.g., Jira, Bugzilla, Mantis) for reporting root cause analysis, executing test cases, and validating bug fixes.Update and manage test cases, providing daily feedback to test case creators, reviewing bug reports, recreating bugs, and validating fixes.Requirements:A minimum of 5+ years of experience in product testing, with a significant emphasis on hardware testing.Undergrad degree with focus on technology with regards to experienceExtensive experience in AR/VR testing, demonstrating familiarity with the unique challenges and requirements of the field.Comfort and willingness to wear AR/VR headgear for prolonged periods as part of the testing process.Ability to work onsite in the Redmond/Bellevue area, with no option for remote work.Proficiency in bug-tracking software such as Jira, Bugzilla, Mantis, etc.Multilingual abilities are a plus, facilitating communication with a diverse team and user base.Strong interest in multimedia and the gaming industry, with a passion for staying ahead of industry trends and developments.Exceptional communication skills, capable of providing constructive feedback and engaging effectively with engineering partners and stakeholders.Benefits (Eligibility after Company Waiting Period):•Health, dental, and vision insurance•401(k) plan with company match•Paid time off (PTO) accrual•Sick leave•Short-term disability coverage
