We are more than colleagues"”we are a community.About the RoleWe are looking for an Associate to join our HVAC department at our Lower Manhattan office in New York City. This position involves managing a range of projects from concept to completion and collaborating with senior leadership on staff development, business growth, and firm marketing initiatives.Responsibilities:Collaborate with department leadership to develop conceptual designs and oversee projects through completion.Serve as the primary client contact for assigned projects.Manage and review project-related documents, ensuring accuracy and timely execution.Oversee the technical and functional aspects of project deliverables.Confidently present and explain designs in internal and external meetings.Regularly coordinate and update project teams to align with design goals and timelines.Initiate and manage design changes, proposals, and approvals as needed.Successfully lead multiple fit-out/renovation projects or large, complex projects from inception to completion.Qualifications:8-14 years of engineering experience.Bachelor's degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.Proficiency in design calculations and relevant software tools (e.g., Revit and AutoCAD).Strong project management and leadership abilities.In-depth understanding of trade-specific project scopes, applicable codes, and inter-trade coordination.Comprehensive knowledge of documentation requirements across design phases (e.g., SD, DD, CD, and specifications).What We Offer:Our people are our most valuable asset.
