Key ResponsibilitiesDrive sector-specific strategies to identify high-conviction investment opportunities across the Software and Internet sectors (long and short). Oversee the creation of deep fundamental analysis, including business models, competitive landscapes, and macroeconomic factors impacting the Software and Internet industries.Collaborate with the CIO and PMs to align sector strategy with broader portfolio objectives, including risk management and diversification.Maintain expertise in market trends, technological advancements, and regulatory developments impacting the sectors, serving as the firm's primary subject matter expert for Software and Internet investments.Key Qualifications10+ years of experience in investment research or portfolio management, with at least 5 years focused on the Software and Internet sectors at a leading hedge fund, asset management firm, or related institution.Demonstrable success in identifying alpha-generating investments and leading a team in a performance-driven environment.Exceptional ability to distill complex industry dynamics into actionable investment theses, backed by rigorous financial modeling and valuation work.Proven experience managing and developing talent in a high-paced, analytical environment.Bachelor's degree required; MBA, CFA, or advanced degree preferred.
