We're looking for new team members with positive attitudes and an eagerness to learn who are as excited about good food & GOOD VIBES.We're hiring a Director of Supply Chain and Logistics in DC!As the Director of Supply Chain and Logistics, you will be the driving force behind CYM's food and beverage sourcing, vendor management, procurement, and logistics, ensuring all processes and product end results align with our mission and values. This role is for a hands-on problem solver and strategic thinker who thrives in a growth environment, excels in negotiation, and leads with impeccable communication and process management skills. Collaborating closely with the Culinary and Commissary Teams, you will champion CYM's product standards to keep our menu at its best. A passion for food, strong vendor relationships, and a commitment to excellence are essential as you lead efforts to optimize operations, maintain efficiency, and uphold CYM's core values across all supply chain activities. As a CYM leader, you'll make an impact by: Mentoring and developing your teamCreating extraordinary moments for guestsContributing to our business with your ideas and feedbackSupporting and lifting up our communities and neighborhoodsYour core responsibilities will be:Manage and act as main point of contact for all vendor relationships; Resolve any systemic vendor issues including but not limited to delivery, quality, professionalism and adherence to CYM's Core ValuesWorking closely with Culinary and Commissary Teams, source products and vendors that align with CYM's Core Values and product standardsWorking with vendors, proactively ensures shops and commissaries have the products needed to execute at the highest levelContinuously evaluate and negotiate margin plus pricing and fixed cost pricing from existing vendors based on CYM's Core Values and product standards.Continuously seek to gain efficiency in our overall cost structure by leveraging our brand equity and sales volume across multiple markets.Lead CYM's internal Logistics teams, proactively planning efficient routes and deliveries that anticipate growth and obstacles to successPartner with Accounting to ensure accurate invoicing and payments for all vendors per our existing agreements and/or contractsValidate all company and operational order guides are up to date with current information and pricingProactively anticipate and potential disruptions to our internal and/or external supply chain and coordinate solutions, comprehensive contingency plans, and temporary replacement items to minimize out of stock on all itemsProvide analysis into product usage and trends and recommend actionable steps to improve efficiency and marginValidate recipe and vendor information in Restaurant 365Partner with Marketing and Operations teams to support packaging updates and sourcing ingredients for new menu items and rolloutsYou'll be a great addition to the CYM team if you:3-5 years in a supply chain role in a retail/food service environmentBachelor's degree in business or related field requiredStrong professional knowledge in all aspects of supply chainExperience managing 50+ vendorsExperience leading logistics and fleet managementPrevious experience ERP, inventory, and distribution systemsConceptual thinker who can move from strategy to tactical implementation seamlesslySkilled in negotiating and proven accountability for financial resultsAttention to detail with a strategic, big picture mindsetHighly collaborative with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skillsGood problem-solving and analytical skillsAbility to deal with ambiguity and quickly changing prioritiesA passion for ensuring a best in class food experienceAbility to manage multiple initiatives and projects and prioritize needsA drive to implement new and innovative solutions to help solve issues and improve the guest experience Ability to travel to CYM locations and vendor partners as needed.You'll love working at CYM because:Starting salary: $95,000 with 10% quarterly bonus opportunityWe have a friendly, fun, and positive work environment, with a welcoming and supportive team, and opportunities to growFor full-time staff (30+ hours): a benefits package that includes health, dental, and vision insurance, and 401k, paid vacation, and paid parental leaveOther staff benefits include, free Call Your Mother staff meals, free fitness and wellness classes, English/Spanish classes, team-building activities, and moreWe provide equal opportunities to everyone who works for us and every applicant.
